Today we learned about the taka-tiki systen again, plus kodaly sign and traditional instrument of our country, Anklung. It was fun playing the anklung instrument. Each of us get an anklung to hold, then our guide will tell us using the kodaly sign if it's your turn to play. We shake the anklung with right hand, and hold the anklung using left hand and that's how we play.

Today we learned to read the rhythm of the notes using taka-tiki system. I did well because I have learned it all about the rhythm since I learn to play piano and using taka-tiki system is a great way to learn the rhythm if I didn't understand how the notes rhythm works. I will learn the taka-tiki system for the upcoming quiz.

Today we had an exercise about the composers back then in Baroque era, Johannes Sebastian Bach. He wasn't famous when he lived. His masterpiece known after he died. We also learned the kodaly sign. I don't know what for is Kodaly sign. For deaf people maybe to play the instruments but we practiced it, though, just in case we need it. We also had practiced for the upcoming examination.

Today I sang Gundul-Gundul Paculcul, an Indonesian song. I wasn't able to memorize the whole lyrics so I just focused on the lyrics and I was so nervous. I don't think I got a good score for that one. Then I got quiz about the yesterday topic, dominanth and inversion scale and I think I might a good one on this because I know how they worked.

Today we learned how inversion and dominanth work. Dominanth works like this, take any scale. then we write the first, third, fifth, and seventh note. Then you lower the seventh note by half and you got the dominanth. The inversion works, well, by inverting the major 7th. At first, they're really hard to get but after a few times it just getting easier and easier. Now, I can applied it when I wrote song to give some variations.

I have assessment today. What I expected, I would as well as I practice. And luckily, It really went well. I relieved that I already assessment. Now, I can concentrate on my other assignment.

Last week we practiced in the instrument class. Today we practiced in front of the class with sir Herry and sir John accompany me. Usually, sir Sadrakh accompany me. But today they're accompany me. I don't know why fortunately sir Sadrakh already wrote the chords so they can accompany me well.
