Today I performed All of me because 2 people from each of the instruments have to perform it. Sir herry chose me and Hasan to represent the Violin. I haven't practiced for like weeks and got a little rusty. I got a little run pitch once. I have to fix it because it will ruin the whole performance.

Today we submitted our 12 bar blues. Finally I finished it on weekend and have sir Herry to check it on Monday. I got a quite big mistake there. I use 3/4 instead of 4/4 and some of my chords are wrong. I figured that it would be hard if I fix the notes, so I make a new one during the class and the reccess.

Today we checked our 12 bar blues and watched James Hadisurjo and Andrew Budiarta from guitar's team played All of me song. And also when sir Herry checked the 12 bar blues, he didn't mention my name. I thought I already submitted the 12 bar blues because my locker key was at home and i forgot to bring it. I guess I haven't finished it. I will come to school on Saturday to get my folder and finish the 12 bar blues with music booklet and submit it on Monday.

I was sick for 1 week. That will explain why my reflection is blank on those 3 days although I know I miss 2 assessments, I don't know which on what day. But I already make it up. I already submit my music booklet and have my singing assessment.

We learned about blues-chord and rehearse singing Sway and also planning about our group presentation in our swing jazz group. Our group will perform about all of me song but I never heard of it. I guess I have to research about all of me song and start practicing from now.

Today we got divided to six groups. I made into Swing group that contains of Kevin, James, and Tiffany. We also learned to sing Sway and learned how to make 12 bar blues. I don't know what is blues if you ask me. And because this term theme is jazz, I need to learn more about blues. I will need some information about it too.

January 15, 2010

Today is the first day of music class. Sir Herry will teach us for the whole semester replacing sir John. So, he explained about Assessment Criterion because there will be no term test for music class. Quite happy to hear that. He also taught us about our behavior. We should be on time, be attentive and pro active, be motivated and follow teacher's instructions. Since he mentioned it, I think our behavior is not enough and it should be improved. I will improve my behavior to be like what he told us.
